MORE THAN A COLLECTION
Larz and Isabel Anderson began collecting motorcars in 1899. They opened their carriage house to visitors in 1927. In 1948, Isabel left the estate to the Town of Brookline.
Today, the nation’s oldest continuously operating automobile collection is a reminder that what we leave behind can become something shared.
